Introduction of the WET LAB for cataract surgery at the TSCRS annual meeting:
1. The TSCRS meeting period is divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with speakers scheduled for specific time slots. Each session can accommodate 2 members for hands-on practice and 10-15 physicians for observation.
2. Instructors will first give a 30-minute presentation, followed by a 30-minute practical session. During the process, the instructor will be wearing a microphone and live video streaming will be available for pre-registered/on-site registered physicians to observe the actual practice.
3. When there is no presentation, a video recording will be shown on loop on a large screen at the booth.
4. There will be two sets of equipment on site at the WET LAB, one using a 3D screen to perform the procedure and the other using a traditional microscope.
5. Fake eyes will be available in the WET LAB for practice and explanation.
Registration information on the practical program offered by TSCRS:
1. The applicant must be an attendee of the TSCRS Annual Conference (Registration).
2. The practical exercise lasts for 30 minutes and two members will be able to perform the exercise at the same time.
3. On-site registration will be open for any unfilled places at the event.
4. Registration process: Complete the form > TSCRS will verify that you have registered for the conference and paid the registration fee > TSCRS will send a reservation letter in the chronological order of the registration form > Registration is complete.
